Play stopped in the bottom of the first inning with one Nebraska runner on base with one out when an NCAA official motioned for the delay and for fans to exit their seats to the concourse.
Play is delayed for at least 30 minutes due to lightning in the area. Nebraska ace Jordy Frahm threw a scoreless top of the first inning with two strikeouts against her former in-state rival, dating back to her two seasons at Oklahoma before transferring. The two-way star then led off the Cornhuskers ' offense with a single before she was thrown out at second base on a fielder's choice.
