Twenty-seven teams qualified for the Section 9 softball tournament, and the brackets were released on Thursday, May 20. The top seeds are Pine Bush (Class AAA), Valley Central (AA), Saugerties (A), Spackenkill (B), Pine Plains (C) and Eldred (D).
