After initial thoughts that he'd be dismissed with Brian Daboll, the Giants are signing GM Joe Schoen to a multi-year extension after a strong offseason, rewarding the front office's draft work and roster-building efforts. Daboll became the second NFL coach fired last season, following the Titans' move on from head coach Brian Callahan. Daboll, in his fourth year with the Giants , had a 2-8 record before his dismissal, and the team set a staggering franchise record with an 11th straight road loss.

That came a year after the Giants set a franchise record with a 10-game losing streak in 2024. Daboll finished his tenure with the Giants 20-40-1 in three-plus seasons. The #Giants and GM Joe Schoen have agreed to terms on a multi-year extension to keep him working with John Harbaugh for years to come.
