Novak Djokovic takes step that could help him at Roland Garros

Tim Henman isn’t backing him to add another this time, though, even with three previous wins at the French Open. Djokovic lost his only clay match of the season so far at the Italian Open, and he’ll turn 39 before the tournament begins.
But it’s never wise to count Djokovic out. His recent choice could be just what he needs to make a deep run in Paris. This isn’t the first time Djokovic has brought in a former player to help guide his career. He had a brief stint with Andy Murray last year, though it only lasted six months before they parted ways. This time, however, there’s a deeper connection.
Djokovic and Troicki have known each other since their junior days and have spent plenty of time together both on and off the court. They’ve also played doubles together and were both instrumental in Serbia’s 2010 Davis Cup victory. Their long-standing relationship could bring some fresh energy to Djokovic’s camp at a crucial moment in his career.
