Here is a look back in time when the Philadelphia 76ers traded for Kyle Korver on draft night in 2003.

With the NBA draft right around the corner, now is the time to look at some past drafts and see what the Philadelphia 76ers have done in their history. The Sixers have selected some big-time players in the past who have become an important part of the fabric of the franchise's history. Coming off a 48-34 season and a Round 2 exit to the hands of the Detroit Pistons , the Sixers entered the 2003 draft looking to add more to the roster.

They found a sharpshooter thanks to a trade with the then- New Jersey Nets . They sent cash considerations to New Jersey in exchange for the draft rights to Kyle Korver, the No. 51 pick of that draft.

In his rookie season, Korver didn't play much, but he was a playoff starter for Philadelphia in 2005. He averaged 11. 5 points and 4.

6 rebounds along with 2. 2 assists while shooting 40. 5% from deep in the 2004-05 season which then led to him starting all five games for the Sixers in the Round 1 loss to the then defending champion Detroit Pistons.
