OKC Thunder star Jalen Williams is questionable for Game 3 of the Western Conference finals against the San Antonio Spurs due to left hamstring soreness.
OKC Thunder star Jalen Williams is questionable for Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs at 7:30 p. m. CT Friday due to left hamstring soreness.
Williams exited the first quarter of Game 2 on Wednesday and didn't return. The Thunder ultimately secured a 122-113 home win to tie the Western Conference finals series at 1-1. Williams sustained a Grade 1 left hamstring strain during Game 2 of OKC's first-round series against Phoenix on April 22.
He returned for Game 1 against San Antonio on Monday but now finds himself in jeopardy of missing more time. If Williams isn't able to suit up Friday, Ajay Mitchell is due for a larger role. The sophomore guard started in all four second-round games against the Los Angeles Lakers during Williams' absence and averaged 22.
5 points and six assists. San Antonio could also be short-handed on Friday. De'Aaron Fox (right ankle sprain) and Dylan Harper (right adductor soreness) are questionable.
