The Boston Red Sox ’ offense has been the bane of their team this season, as while their pitching would dominate, their stagnant offense would lose them games.
However, it seems like that is starting to change. With a couple injuries to some of their slumping players, the Sox dipped into their AAA roster to bring some guys up. The two they got, Mickey Gasper and Nick Sogard, have been actually great bats for Boston.

In 13 games in 2024 , he wasn’t able to record a hit for the Red Sox. After that season, they traded him to the Minnesota Twins for Jovani Moran, who has become a key reliever for Boston.
Minnesota then waived him, and the Sox reacquired him, putting him on the AAA roster. He was then called up when Roman Anthony went on the IL , and since then, he’s been great. He’s slashing .
