The Hurricanes picked up a pledge from a top offensive-line prospect on Thursday afternoon. Four-star lineman Jatori Williams committed to Miami, choosing UM over offers from Florida State and Georgia, among others. Williams had previously said he was not planning to commit until July, but he chose the Hurricanes on Thursday instead.

Williams is listed as the No. 7 interior offensive lineman and No. 104 player in the 2027 class.

Williams, a Phenix City, Alabama, native, is listed at 6-5 and 320 pounds. The Hurricanes’ staff believes he has the most power of any interior lineman in the class, a UM source told the Sun Sentinel. The staff thinks Williams’ skills and polish could help him make an impact when he arrives at Miami next year.
