On Thursday, the organization parted ways with two players while adding two more.
Offensive lineman Braeden Daniels and tight end Jalin Conyers were waived, while running back Carlos Washington Jr. and offensive tackle Marques Cox were signed. Daniels — formerly a fourth round pick for the Washington Commanders in the 2023 NFL Draft — never played a snap for the Dolphins, but spent time on the team’s practice squad in 2025.
Conyers was an undrafted free agent signing of the Dolphins following the 2025 NFL Draft, but spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve. Cox was also an undrafted free agent last year. He spent time with the Denver Broncos’ and the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squads in 2025.
Washington Jr. has played in two career games in the NFL — both with the Atlanta Falcons who signed him as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft. From the Dolphins’ team website: Washington Jr.
