And despite the back ailment of their star guard, the Fever have gotten rid of a different backcourt player on Thursday. They have waived Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, according to Chloe Peterson . So far, out of the Fever's five games, Walker-Kimbrough had appeared in just two.
She was essentially out of the rotation. Her release clears a roster spot. Fans are hoping that the team gets bigger with that open roster spot.
If there's a need for depth, it's probably in the paint, potentially a center. That is, of course, as long as Clark is healthy. If Clark turns out to miss more time, Indiana will want to be smart about how it handles its depth chart at the guard position.
