Gonzaga to Open Players Era Against Kansas State
The pieces to Gonzaga’s upcoming non-conference schedule are coming together.

(Photo by Katelyn Mulcahy/Players Era/Getty Images) | Getty Images The Gonzaga Bulldogs will take on first-year coach Casey Alexander (previously with the Belmont Bruins) and the Kansas State Wildcats in the opening round of the Players Era 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Nov. 24.
The Zags are 1-2 against the Wildcats in their all-time history. Last season, Kansas State finished with a 12-20 overall record and finished second-to-last in the Big 12 Conference standings with a 3-15 conference record. Previous coach Jerome Tang was fired midway through his fourth season in February.
