Here are the Daily News High School Sports top performers from May 20: Emily Alley & Mackenzie Duffy, Tri-County softball They had five RBIs each in a 19-1 win against Norfolk Aggie.
Alley had two hits and struck out nine to pick up the win in the circle, while Duffy was 2-for-3 with five runs, two doubles and a homer. Maddy Benoit contributed three hits and three RBIs fr the Cougars (14-1). Sean Burkhart, Nipmuc baseball He went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs in an 11-0 win against Sutton.
Grady O'Neil (two RBIs) and John Desmond each went 2-for-4 for the Warriors (15-3) Lorelai Collette, Ashland softball She homered twice and doubled with two RBIs and three runs on a 4-for-4 day, as the Clockers bested Westwood 10-9. Neko Ustaris, Rebecca Kriegsman (double) and Quinn Herter each went 2-for-3 for Ashland (14-5, 6-4 TVL), while Caroline Caira and Ava Venditi each provided two RBIs, Ethan Edmunds, Franklin baseball He was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs in a 5-1 win over Sharon. The freshman also allowed just five hits with seven strikeouts to pick up the win on the ound for the Panthers.
Franklin's Jack Sullivan was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run, while Patrick Luizzi added two hits.
