Florida State baseball's ACC Tournament quarterfinal against Pitt has been moved up to 3 p.m. due to potential severe weather in Charlotte.

Florida State baseball's ACC Tournament quarterfinal against Pitt has been moved up to 3 p. m. on Friday, May 22, to accommodate potentially severe weather in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.

The game was initially scheduled for 7 p. m. at Truist Park, but was moved up to avoid the weather threat.

The tournament also moved up Thursday's quarterfinal games to deal with a similar weather threat. FSU will be the second game of the day, taking the field after North Carolina plays Virginia Tech Friday morning, with an 11 a. m.

first pitch. Due to inclement weather expected in the Charlotte area, tomorrow's ACC Quarterfinal has been moved up to a 3 pm ET first pitch. šŸŒ§ļø pic.
