Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak is aiming to give running back Ashton Jeanty more on his plate in 2026 and that should send his stock sky high.

While he did see a healthy 78% snap share during his rookie year, Jeanty would go missing at some of the most important times, like in the two-minute drill before halftime, for example. The hope this year is that the Raiders' coaching staff, led by new head coach Klint Kubiak, won't make the same mistake while also giving Jeanty an even bigger workload. Well, it looks like that is going to happen.

Kubiak told reporters that the team is looking to "get more out of" Jeanty and points to the kind of snap share Christian McCaffrey has gotten during his career as an example of what the team could aim for with the second-year back. "We think we should continue to challenge Ashton and get more out of him," Kubiak said, per Levi Damien of Raiders Wire . "I don't know the play snap percentage, but you look at Christian McCaffrey, his play snap percentage is high," Kubiak added.

"So, those great backs, they don't want to come off the field. " McCaffrey posted an 83% snap share in 2025, and that was with the 49ers trying to limit his usage a bit in order to keep him fresh and healthy for the entire season. But we've seen McCaffrey eclipse a 90% snap share twice when he was younger and Jeanty is at the exact age when McCaffrey saw that kind of workload.
