High school girls' track and field sectional results from Central Indiana.
It took an extra day due to the weather, but high school girls’ sectional track and field wrapped up on Wednesday at seven Central Indiana sites. Carmel, Brownsburg, Pike, Whiteland, North Central, Mt. Vernon and Franklin Central claimed team sectional championships.
Here is a look at the top three in each event in the local sectional meets (the girls regional meets are set for Tuesday with local schools feeding into meets at Lafayette Jeff, Ben Davis and Greenfield-Central). This is not a complete list of those who advanced to the regional, just those who advanced by finishing in the top three: HSE junior Anissa Lammie shows heart, wins 400-meter title at sectional meet At Hamilton Southeastern Team results: Carmel 156, Hamilton Southeastern 100, Westfield 97, Noblesville 85, Fishers 76, Hamilton Heights 46, Guerin Catholic 42, Lebanon 16, Lapel 4. 4x800 relay: Carmel 9:20.
