Crochet hasn’t pitched in the big leagues since April 25 due to shoulder inflammation. However, he is getting closer to a return as he has since started to throw off a mound. With Crochet back throwing, the key for the left-hander is to get his mechanics back, which he said is just a feeling thing.
"It's just a specific feel,” said Crochet. “It’s a lot of timing in the delivery. I feel like I've been trying to hit a certain amount of checkpoints in my delivery, and I've kind of got way too much going on.
