More details have emerged on the surprising arrest of WWE star Ludwig Kaiser, AKA El Grande Americano, and they don’t put the wrestler in a good light. Many wrestling fans woke up to some unexpected news on Thursday when reports emerged in the early morning hours that Kaiser had been arrested in Orlando, FL, on charges of battery. The man who currently goes under the name of El Grande Americano in WWE and AAA was not arrested for domestic violence, but was involved in an altercation with an unknown individual.
The 35-year-old was booked into an Orange County jail and was released after posting a $1,000 bond. While details about the situation have been hard to find, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has revealed some new details about the arrest. Ludwig Kaiser allegedly attacked neighbor Credit: WWE According to the veteran wrestling reporter, the Affidavit for Arrest claims the other man in the incident, Richard Reap, was followed into an elevator by Kaiser and an unknown woman.
The WWE star and the female engaged in heavy PDA in an “uncontrollably intimate” manner. When the elevator reached Reap’s stop on the 12th floor, on his way out, he suggested they should “please have some manners. ” In response, Kaiser punched Reap multiple times, pushed him to the floor, and threatened him.
The victim also believes Kaiser is a fellow resident of the building where the attack happened. Reap, understandably, plans to pursue criminal charges, and it is terrible timing for the German-born wrestler. On May 30, he is set to take part in the biggest match of his career when he faces “The Original” El Grande Americano in a mask vs.
