Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel dominate First Team All-Rookie voting
After stellar rookie campaigns, both Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel were named to the 2025-26 All-Rookie First Team.
The NBA Rookie teams were revealed Wednesday night, and as a surprise to no one, Duke stars Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel made the first team. The former college roommates had exceptional rookie campaigns, battling each other in a neck-and-neck Rookie of the Year Award race. Flagg and Knueppel each made the All-Rookie First Team unanimously, along with VJ Edgecombe of the Philadelphia 76ers .
Dylan Harper of the San Antonio Spurs and Cedric Coward of the Memphis Grizzlies rounded out the list, as four top-four picks from the 2025 NBA Draft all made the first team. The second team included Derik Queen ( New Orleans Pelicans ), Maxime Raynaud ( Sacramento Kings ), Jeremiah Fears (New Orleans Pelicans), Ace Bailey ( Utah Jazz ) and Collin Murray-Boyles ( Toronto Raptors ). Another former Duke Blue Devil, Sion James ( Charlotte Hornets ), received two second-team votes.
