Sports announcer Jim Nantz thinks tens to hundreds of thousands of people will be on Broadway during the Super Bowl.

Football and golf announcer Jim Nantz said following the 2030 Super Bowl in Nashville people at the game will think it was the “the greatest event” they had ever attended. “On that day in February 2030, Broadway is going to have tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people there, whether they have a ticket to the game or not,” Nantz said during a news conference at a Nashville community celebration. Additionally, Nantz floated the idea of hosting the pregame show along Broadway.

“The pregame show, the Super Bowl pregame show, is going to be launched from there before they move it into the stadium” right before kickoff, he said. Typically the Super Bowl pregame show is held within the city’s most distinguishable neighborhood or landmark. For example, the 2025 Super Bowl held in New Orleans featured the pregame show on Bourbon Street in the city’s French Quarter.

In Nashville, Nantz said people will traverse the Cumberland River to enter the stadium before walking back after the game to continue the celebration. “People are going to say, 'That’s the greatest event I’ve ever been a part of,'” Nantz said. “You watch.
