Mardela softball, Stephen Decatur baseball set for MPSSAA state championship games on Saturday

In the world of Maryland high school baseball and softball, the time has come to crown state champions. This weekend, teams across the MPSSAA will battle for the right to call themselves the best in the state. And two Bayside South teams will be featuring in state championship baseball and softball games this weekend.

Mardela Softball and Stephen Decatur Baseball each earned their spots in Saturday, May 23, state title games by winning in the state semifinals on Tuesday. Mardela is looking to go back-to-back as state champion, while Decatur is looking for its first baseball state title to bring back to Berlin.
