Ramon Foster is leaving the Tennessee football broadcast team with Vols Network to become the Tennessee Titans radio color analyst, the Titans announced on May 21. Foster, a former Tennessee player and NFL standout, spent one season in the UT radio booth alongside “Voice of the Vols” Mike Keith , who had been the longtime Titans play-by-play announcer. Foster replaces Titans color analyst Dave McGinnis , who died on April 13.
"I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to join Titans Radio as the next color analyst and to continue the high standard set by Coach Mac," Foster said in a Titans news release. "I'm excited to help grow Titans Radio and further strengthen the connection between this organization and the communities that support it for years to come. "The opportunity to represent one of the 32 NFL teams as a player is a privilege in itself, and to now have the chance to be a voice for the community and the fans who love the Tennessee Titans is something I do not take lightly.
Those people are what make the NFL what it is today. " Foster previously served as the sideline reporter for the Titans radio broadcast team. Now he’ll be in the booth alongside play-by-play announcer Taylor Zarzour , who replaced Keith in 2025.
Foster played on the offensive line for the Vols from 2004-08. He served as team captain and earned All-SEC honors on the 2007 SEC Eastern Division championship team. He then played 11 seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers as one of the NFL's most consistent offensive linemen.
