Colorado lands 2027 CB Will Rasmussen, continues recruiting hot streak

Colorado football continued its hot recruiting stretch Wednesday evening, adding three-star 2027 cornerback Will Rasmussen just two weeks after offering. The Orem, Utah native becomes the Buffs' third 2027 commitment in 36 hours following edge Ba'Roc Willis and safety Gabe Jenkins . All three Buffs were visitors over the May 15 weekend.

Rasmussen is ranked as the No. 1,515 overall recruit, the No. 129 cornerback and the No.

24 recruit from Utah by 247Sports. Rasmussen held offers from Oregon State, Utah, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and several others. He visited Colorado, Oregon State, and Utah, but ultimately chose the Buffs after his recent visit.

Colorado is now up to six 2027 commitments, a stark improvement from a year ago, when it had only one recruit in the fold at this time of year. Four of those commits, including Rasmussen, are defensive players. All six are also from different states, showing the range Colorado's recruiting staff covers.
