While several leaks have came out in recent days and even the DFB itself pre-dropped some early names in the morning before the full announcement, we now have the official squad. 🇩🇪 OFFICIAL: Germany's FIFA World Cup squad pic. twitter.

com/DmGV0JdQxi — Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) May 21, 2026 Bayern Munich fans will not be happy to see Tom Bischof, who would have been a dynamic and highly-gifted addition to Nagelsmann’s squad, left out in the cold. The same could be said for Said El Mala, who was initially believed to be included. Some of the most controversial inclusions to the squad are Leroy Sané, Manuel Neuer, and Leon Goretzka.

Many disagree with Goretzka and Neuer, while even Nagelsmann said before the season that Sané would have to do exceptionally well in the Turkish league to be included with the national team, a rule that seemingly doesn’t matter anymore. Sané finished his season with seven goals and nine assists in 43 games across all competitions. Who are you happiest to see included?
