Bayern keeping tabs may not be enough to reel the youngster in

Per a report captured by @MiaSanMia , the 18-year-old forward is attracting interest from Bayern as the club continues to monitor young attacking talent across Europe.

Mounguengue is still at PSG, but his situation could soon become clearer, with the French club expected to hold talks with him in the coming days. The goal from PSGโ€™s side is clear. They want to tie him down to a professional contract before interest from elsewhere develops further.

Bayernโ€™s interest, then, makes the timing of those talks even more important. For Bayern, this may not be a move for the immediate first team, but more likely one with the future in mind. The club have often looked at young players who can be developed gradually, and Mounguengue appears to fit that profile.

Of course, PSG will not want to lose one of their own academy forwards without a fight. But if Bayern remain interested and the professional contract talks do not progress quickly, this could become one to watch. For now, though, PSG have the first move.
