Stefon Diggs implies a desire to join Commanders with brother Trevon
The Washington Commanders could realistically be a landing spot for two of the top remaining free agents.
The Washington Commanders appear to be in a good position heading into the 2026 NFL season. For one, star quarterback Jayden Daniels is healthy, which was the biggest problem last season. Additionally, the team has made some solid moves this offseason that should improve the depth on both sides of the ball.
Many also liked what the Commanders did during the draft, despite not having the most resources. However, there are a couple of positions, specifically wide receiver and cornerback, that could use some added reinforcements. Fortunately, there might be a perfect solution to both of those needs.
Veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs and his brother, cornerback Trevon Diggs, are both free agents. The brothers are Maryland natives and, at a recent event, Stefon seemed totally open to the idea of joining his hometown team. When asked how long it would be before he and Trevon would be wearing Commanders jerseys, the older Diggs had an interesting response.
โThatโs what everybody is talking about right now," said Stefon. "We gonna talk about it real soon thoughโ. Stefon Diggs & Trevon Diggs were asked how long it would take to get them wearing #Commanders jerseys: Stefon: โThatโs what everybody is talking about right now.
