How did Dylan Harper get hurt in Game 2 of Spurs-Thunder?

Yahoo Sports

Here's what we know about Dylan Harper after a concerning play in the third quarter of Spurs-Thunder in Game 2.

Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals was obviously a big one for the San Antonio Spurs . After capturing Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder behind a virtuoso performance from Victor Wembanyama , the Spurs were still hot on the heels of the Thunder, who were understandably trying to avoid the dreaded 0-2 hole after losing both of their home games. With the Thunder taking an unexpected, disaster injury wrinkle to Jalen Williams , the Spurs unfortunately matched them.

Star rookie guard Dylan Harper was grabbing at his hamstring around the midway point of the third quarter and had to leave the game accordingly. Needless to say, this is the last thing you want to see from one of the players on your team this time of year: Dylan Harper is heading back to the locker room after holding his right hamstring landing from a layup that was blocked by SGA. — Jared Weiss (@JaredWeissNBA) May 21, 2026 There's no clear update on Harper at the time of this writing.

He's still being evaluated in the Spurs' locker room. If the injury looks like what it was at face value, that could be a massive injury for the rest of what is shaping up to be an epic series. We will update you as we learn more.
