Wyatt Tverstol's only blemish in the series opener was an unearned run in the first inning. He threw all seven innings and allowed four hits and two walks with 10 strikeouts. Miles Gish drove in a run on a fielder's choice, while Reece Dokken singled in the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh.

Jack Zellmann also went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles. The doubleheader finale featured more offense. Bemidji scored five runs in the third and four in the fourth to jump out to a 9-1 lead.
