Yankees' outfielder Trent Grisham exits Wednesday game vs. Toronto
Trent Grisham was replaced by Spencer Jones in the fifth inning of Wednesday's game at Yankee Stadium.
NEW YORK - Yankees center fielder Trent Grisham exited with a possible left leg injury, following a gift double in Wednesday night's second inning. Grisham did not leave a scoreless game against the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium until the top of the fifth, when he was replaced defensively by rookie Spencer Jones. With two out in the second inning, Grisham's catchable fly ball dropped between two Blue Jays defenders in shallow left field and Grisham pulled into second with a gift double off Jays' righty Trey Yesavage.
Already, the Yankees have outfielder Jasson Dominguez (strained left shoulder) and DH Giancarlo Stanton (strained right calf) on the injured list, and neither player has a specific timetable to return.
