Aaron Rodgers announces he’ll retire from NFL after upcoming season

Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is retiring from the NFL at the end of the upcoming season. The 42-year-old play caller admitted to reporters that he had “some doubt” about returning for a 22nd season of football, but decided to wear a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform for one last year after being convinced the team would be competitive. “Yes,” he replied when asked if the 2026 campaign would be his last.
