The NFL is in the OTA phase of the offseason as teams prepare for minicamp and training camp. Soon, teams will return to the field for preseason action as the 2026 regular season approaches. The New York Giants are among the teams welcoming back players from injury, including running back Cam Skattebo.

Skattebo is not only a dynamic player for the Giants, but also a big personality. Whenever cameras and microphones surround him, he usually delivers a memorable sound bite. That was the case again on Tuesday when he spoke with New York media.

Skattebo emphasized that he is still progressing in his recovery, but expressed confidence that his return is not far away. “I’m a little ways out. Not too far, but I’ll be ready to go.
