PSG vs. Arsenal – Luis Enrique's UEFA Media Day Press Conference
PSG coach Luis Enrique speaks about topics of interest ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal.
Paris Saint-Germain crowned itself champion of Ligue 1 this season for another year after the last league match against Paris FC (2-1) . While the celebrations take place, the Parisian team does not set aside the next commitment on the list: the Champions League final against Arsenal. The 2026 Champions League final will be in approximately 10 days, and the mystery surrounding the match has been shown, or at least that is what the club's coach, Luis Enrique, wants to convey.
Speaking at a press conference for UEFA's Open Media Day, Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on the big final. When asked how the players on the roster felt about the match, the Spaniard preferred to keep it a mystery. "No information.
We have to keep quiet and be discreet. Everyone is ready, and each one arrives in their own way. It will be a week with many days of rest, because it is important to disconnect, but also a lot of training to prepare the small offensive and defensive details for the final," he said.
Luis Enrique also commented that, normally, at the end of the season, players feel extremely mentally tired after so many matches, but this year things were different. "This year has been different. The most important thing is that when the players arrive at the Campus, they enjoy themselves, have a good time, spend time with their teammates, train, and go to the gym and the pool.
