UNC basketball offers a top prospect in 2027 class
The UNC basketball program has officially offered five-star guard Adan Diggs.
The North Carolina Tar Heels are currently working on building their recruiting board for the 2027 class. After a weekend that was filled with watching recruits on the AAU circuit, we are starting to get a clearer picture of who UNC is making a priority. And on Tuesday night, they officially entered the race for one of the top players in the 2027 class.
Five-star combo guard Adan Diggs made the decision to reclassify from 2028 to 2027 and while doing so, he picked up a bunch of offers. One comes from North Carolina who officially entered the race for the guard on Tuesday night with the offer. The Goodyear, Arizona product has 25 total offers, including from some of the bigger programs in the country like Arizona, Kentucky , North Carolina, and Kansas, among others.
After North Carolina watched him over the weekend, they wasted no time in offering him. The 6-foot-5, 180-pound combo guard is ranked No. 4 nationally, the No.
1 combo guard and No. 1 player in the state of Arizona per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. This is certainly a recruitment we will keep an eye on now that the Tar Heels are involved.
