This is bizarre.

Ravens torn to shreds over failure to improve 1 key position originally appeared on The Sporting News . Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here . The Baltimore Ravens ' offseason for the most part has been a success for Jesse Minter.

The franchise signed Trey Hendrickson, along with having a good draft, but it did lose players, such as Tyler Linderbaum and tight ends Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar. But the big thing that the Ravens failed to do was replace those players, who you could argue, were key staples for Lamar Jackson (maybe not Kolar). And for CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan, he's not held back on Baltimore's failure to address one key position.

"Baltimore's inability to have a suitable replacement for its former Pro Bowl center is damning,” Sullivan wrote . All of that change can be good, but the failure to replace Linderbaum, who is a three-time Pro Bowl center, isn't great.

At all. Corey Bullock is slated to be the starter and is entering his second season and has zero starts in his career. To me, that's a recipe for disaster in Baltimore, and for a team that has Super Bowl pressure, that's far from ideal.
