Participants set for IBCA/IHSAA Underclass Showcase events

INDIANAPOLIS—The 24th IBCA/IHSAA Top 100 Underclass Showcase basketball events have been set for June 12 and June 18. Regional champions Tywaine Fuller and Kendrick Martin from Liberty Christian as well as sectional champs Owen Garber from Lapel and Adah Hupfer of Pendleton Heights headline the local contingent of players and coaches participating, the IBCA announced Tuesday. The 2026 boys' IBCA/IHSAA Top 100 Underclass Showcase will be Friday, June 12 and the Showcase will be Thursday, June 18 with both events being held at Ben Davis High School.
Indiana Underclass All-Star Don Bowling III from Anderson High School will be playing in the boys showcase while coaches Donnie Bowling from Anderson and Rick Ellsworth of Shenandoah will be directing drills and coaching scrimmages as well. Daleville’s Olivia Pratcher and Ariah Scott from Anderson have been named to the girls’ showcase. Staged by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association with support from the Indiana High School Athletic Association and presented by Ballogy, the Underclass Showcase events are designed to give exposure to 252 of the top basketball prospects from across the state (120 boys, 132 girls) to colleges across the state and nation.
The 2026 Boys' and Girls’ Showcases will each be conducted in one session, beginning at 11:30 a. m. and running until about 4:55 p.
m. Both Showcase events are being held during the NCAA's "scholastic viewing period," which allows coaches from NCAA Division I programs to attend in person. None of the local players have announced college commitments.
