Once again, the experienced batting core failed to deliver when the team needed stability and momentum.
Rohit’s innings lasted just 13 balls for 15 runs. While the scorecard may not look disastrous at first glance, the former MI captain never looked settled and threw away his wicket at a stage when Mumbai desperately needed someone to anchor the innings. His dismissal left MI reeling at 23/3 inside four overs, putting massive pressure on the middle order.
