Wednesday Bantering: Berrios Had Tommy John Surgery

The good news keeps coming.
The told us yesterday that they were going to ‘remove loose bodies’ in his elbow and see what else needs fixing. I’m sure when Berrios woke up and was told they decided to do Tommy John surgery, since he was already on the operating table, it was a bit of a shock (I’m joking, I’m sure they wouldn’t do that without discussing it with him). I don’t know why the team has been gaslighting us.
They must have known he was getting TJ, so why not say it. Why pretend it was something minor when it wasn’t. Would telling us yesterday have been worse than telling us today.
Are we going with ‘It’s not a lie if we know the truth’, as Donald Rumsfeld would have told us. Or something like that. Ask Matt.
This has been such a fun season. I missed something yesterday. It happened in the hour and a half that I spent in a Rogers shop, trying to get a new phone.
