After a long and grueling post-draft year for Anton Frondell, which included playing a full pro season in the Swedish Hockey League with Djurgarden, winning a Gold Medal with Sweden at the U20 World Junior Championship, and making his first 12 NHL appearances with the Chicago Blackhawks, he courageously decided there was still more hockey to be played. Frondell was announced as part of Sweden’s roster for the Fortuna Hockey Games , held from Apr. 30 to May 3 as part of the 2025-26 Euro Hockey Tour, which served almost like a warm-up tournament for the 2026 IIHF World Championship.
