Valencia close permanent deal for Levante youngster Valencia have this week tied up the permanent signing of Víctor Fernández from La Liga rivals Levante. This comes after a successful loan spell for the 18-year-old with Los Che this season. Fernández for his part made the move to Valencia last summer, on a 12-month loan deal from parent club Levante.
From here, the midfielder – capable of filling a number of roles both in the middle of the park and further forward – went on to play a starring role at reserve level. All told, across 32 league appearances with Valencia B, Fernández racked up 11 goals and three assists. And such exploits, as alluded to above, proved sufficient to convince those behind the scenes at Mestalla of the starlet’s deservingness of a permanent transfer.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano: ‘Víctor Fernández Jr joins Valencia on a permanent deal from Levante, option to buy clause activated today. Deal worth €100k and pre-season next under Corberán. Clubs from Spanish 2nd division and Portuguese league are keen on potential deal.
