Oak Ridge's Mikee Teasley wins his second consecutive Mookie Betts Mr. Baseball award for Class 4A.
Mikee Teasley is Mr. Baseball again. The recent Oak Ridge High School graduate will soon be playing baseball for the University of Tennessee.
This week, he's playing in the 2026 TSSAA Class 4A Baseball State Championship in Murfreesboro. On May 19, he attended the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Mookie Betts Mr. Baseball Awards.
For the second year in a row, Teasley won for Class 4A. "It's more than just about me, it's about Oak Ridge," said Teasley, who hit . 396 with nine doubles, four homers, 27 RBIs and 24 stolen bases.
He also tossed 47 innings, going 7-0 with an 0. 79 ERA and 66 strikeouts. "It's something special, and I'm honored.
