Tyler Loop finds some much-needed confidence early at Ravens OTAs

He'll need to keep the momentum going and continue to improve, but Tyler Loop had a great day of OTAs to get his second Ravens season going.

Everyone inside the Baltimore Ravens โ€™ building has something to prove this season. An eight-win campaign followed by a heartbreaking postseason miss wasn't what anyone envisioned for the franchise's 30th anniversary season. Expectations in Baltimore are always higher than that, and after an offseason that brought coaching changes , roster tweaks, and a renewed sense of urgency, the message entering 2026 is obvious.

Improvement isnโ€™t optional . That pressure is felt through the roster, but it doesn't land evenly. Some veterans are being asked to bounce back.

Some young players are being asked to grow up quickly. Tyler Loop falls somewhere in the middle, and if we're being honest, there may not be many Ravens whose confidence needs a greater boost. Positive signs from Tyler Loop Fair or unfair, kickers are remembered for one thing.

They're treated like they should be perfect at a job, 'seeing as how they only have one to do. ' No one talks much about the routine. No one celebrates consistency from 37 yards in October.
