Maximilian Beier gets call for German national team

Beier had a productive season for Borussia Dortmund as he tallied 10 goals and 10 assists in 44 games across all competitions, while playing as a striker, second striker, left wing, and right wing.

One thing that Nagelsmann values is versatility and being able to use Beier and players like Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, and Florian Wirtz in different positions should give Nagelsmann some quality options. If Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl is, indeed, in the mix as has been rumored, he would be yet another option, who can play in multiple spots across the frontline.
