UNC basketball guard Matt Able says he has two great options in terms for the NBA or Chapel Hill.

As Michael Malone and the North Carolina Tar Heels try to finalize the roster for the 2026-27 season, there's a big decision that will shape up the roster. Former NC State guard Matt Able committed to the program while also going through the NBA Draft process to get some feedback. But so far, Able has performed well and is being mocked in the second round of the upcoming draft.

Able has a decision to make. Does he stay in the NBA Draft or does he head to North Carolina for one more year and try to improve his stock? It's a decision that is looming for him and on Tuesday, he provided another small update.

The guard worked out in front of NBA personnel at the Life Sports Agency pro day in El Segundo, California on Tuesday. After the workout, he was asked about his pending decision: “College is awesome. There’s nothing to not like about college — the environment, the students, the fans, it’s awesome," Able said .

"N. C. State was amazing, the fans are awesome, and if I do come back, I’m sure UNC will be amazing as well.
