Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway fight odds: McGregor is huge underdog in UFC 329 return bout
Conor McGregor is a big underdog in his first UFC fight in five years against Max Holloway.
Itโs been five years since the controversial UFC star Conor McGregor has set foot in the Octagon, but it was announced last week that McGregor will return on Saturday, July 11 at UFC 329 to take on Max Holloway in a much-anticipated rematch. Oddsmakers arenโt giving McGregor much of a chance to win, though. Holloway is a -450 favorite at sportsbooks, while McGregor is a +300 underdog (implied probability of 25%).
The last time we saw McGregor in a UFC fight in 2021, he broke his leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier. McGregor will be 37 years old on the day of the fight, and Holloway will be 34. The two squared off all the way back in 2013, with McGregor winning by unanimous decision.
The fight will be contested at welterweight at 170 pounds, and will be the main event of the annual UFC International Fight Week.
