The Boston Red Sox have won back-to-back games over the Kansas City Royals without Anthony, who remains sidelined with a right wrist sprain. Although he hasn't gotten to watch the 21-year-old outfielder at Kauffman Stadium, Bobby Witt Jr. praised Anthony before Tuesday's game.

The two-time All-Star explained the similarities between him and Anthony, per MassLive's Christoper Smith . "A lot of just the personality ... and how he is, how he carries himself, and just how he’s a true big leaguer,” Witt said.

"We’re not really that loud or over-talkative, whatever. We like to enjoy the game, have fun, and we’re competitive. We want to win, and we want to work.
