Brown all offseason, but they may not be a lock to get him, despite many reports. According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo , the Patriots are "likely" to land Brown, but other teams cannot be ruled out. There is no deal already in place between the Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.
"This plays out with him on another team, likely the Patriots," said Garafolo on "The Rich Eisen Show. " "I don't know that I can completely rule out (others). " Garafolo appeared on the "Rick Eisen Show" and shared information about the situation.
While the Patriots have been the team most linked to him, Garafolo noted that Howie Roseman will do everything he can to get the most out of Brown. He could start talking to other teams to drive up the price. The Eagles have operated during the offseason in a way that suggests they are ready to move on from Brown.
