Here's what Cavs owner Dan Gilbert said about the team's Game 1 loss to the Knicks.

Make no mistake, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals is one to forget for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The team held a commanding 22-point lead in the fourth quarter and managed to squander it away before losing in overtime 115-104. On social media, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert called the loss "as tough as it gets" after the game.

The All Star guard scored 16 points in the fourth quarter to take the game into overtime. The Knicks then went on to outscore the Cavs 14-3 in the extra period. But following the game, Gilbert also pointed out the resolve of his team saying, "it’s one game, and this team has proven over and over again that it can come back stronger than ever.
