Could These Two Former Blue Devils Reunite In The NBA?
Where will these two be playing next?
DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA - NOVEMBER 21: Isaiah Evans #3 talks with Maliq Brown #6 of the Duke Blue Devils during the first half of the game against the Niagara Purple Eagles at Cameron Indoor Stadium on November 21, 2025 in Durham, North Carolina. (Photo by Grant Halverson/Getty Images) | Getty Images The chances of this actually happening are probably minimal, but itโs still fun to think about: the Smoking Cuban asks if the Dallas Mavericks could end up with both Isaiah Evans and Maliq Brown alongside former Duke teammate Cooper Flagg. From a Duke point of view, with Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively also under contract, it would make Dallas the latest Duke South.
However, most mock drafts have Evans going in the middle of the first round. Admittedly, these are basically guesses, but theyโre reasonably informed. As for Brown, thereโs a good chance he signs with somebody as a free agent, which in many ways is better than going in the second round.
A lot of second round picks are just wishful thinking/best athlete available, etc. , but if someone brings you in as a free agent, they have a definite plan. Lakers Could Target 6-Foot-6 Wing Shooter in Major Roster Shakeup Go to the DBR Boards to find Blue Healer Auctions || Drop us a line
