Kager Knueppel, younger brother of former Duke star Kon, discusses the timeline for his commitment.

Kon Knueppel may have played just one season for Duke , but his presence is still being felt by the Blue Devilsโ€™ program, and, if Jon Scheyer gets his wish, another Knueppel will be suiting up for his team in Durham soon. Konโ€™s younger brother, Kager, recently received an offer from Scheyer and the Blue Devils, but like many teams in the nation, they have been on their radar for some time. At 6-foot-10 and 215 pounds, Kager is just like his older brother in that he can shoot the ball, especially from three.

Recently, Knueppel sat down with Kentucky Sports Radio to discuss his recruitment and whether anyone besides the Blue Devils has a chance to sign him. โ€œIt's not just 100 percent Duke," Knueppel said. "I'm still gonna - like, it's my own path, so I'll see other schools and have interest in them...

We don't have a specific date, but Duke is trying to get us down to go on a visit, and I think Michigan, maybe... "I think [my decision] is gonna happen sooner than later, so not all the way until the high school season, but closer to that. " As for what he sees from Duke and Scheyer, Knueppel is familiar with how things are run in Durham.

"They're also a winning program, and all of the coaches are super awesome," Knueppel said. "I've been down there a lot of times, and it's super fun. โ€ This article originally appeared on Duke Wire: Kager Knueppel on Duke scholarship offer, commitment timeline
