One of them is the Cleveland Browns , and a writer recently proposed an idea that would send him to a team that desperately needs to figure out its quarterback situation.
“Player-for-player trades rarely happen in the NFL, but we'll try one out here. Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent has been the subject of trade rumors all offseason, but the team hasn't moved him yet. As the start of the season gets closer, teams with a need at QB might be willing to make a deal.
“The Bears could send Bagent to compete in Cleveland, getting defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. and a late-round pick from the Browns in exchange. Hall would be an immediate contributor on the interior while serving as a long-term replacement for Grady Jarrett,” Michael Haney wrote .
