Bayern Munich News: Man City’s Joško Gvardiol could be interested in FC Bayern move; A true, feelgood football story; and MORE!

As it turns out, Matthäus might have been onto something and Gvardiol can even envision a move to Bavaria.

So…what’s the catch? Per Sport1, his price: According to SPORT1 , the Croatian can indeed imagine such a move and is even trying to force a departure from Manchester. Gvardiol is known to be a big fan of FC Bayern and was already on the Munich club’s shortlist during his time at RB Leipzig.

Whether the 24-year-old’s feelings are reciprocated remains to be seen. The record champions are likely to be deterred primarily by a potential transfer fee of around €90 million. This is the sum City once had to pay Leipzig .

Bavaria would have to dig deep into its pockets. With skillful negotiation, the transfer fee could possibly be reduced to 75 million, but it remains questionable whether Bayern Munich wants to afford this expensive proposition. Bayern Munich does not need much in this transfer market.
